ZOMBIE HAND CHAR-CUT-ERIE (gluten-free, soy-free)
Updated: Oct 12, 2022
A Spooktacular addition to your Halloween Char-CUT-erie Board... ZOMBIE HANDS! No cooking, no mixing, no measuring (except to measure the length of the fingers...carefully. lol ). This is really just three cheeses wrapped in prosciutto.
For the forearm, I used a mozzarella-prosciutto roll and purposely left some uncovered at the end to look like bone.
The hand is simply a ball of mozzarella cut down to size. You could also use goat cheese if you want something more moldable, but keep in mind that it'll soften quickly when you set it out for guests (not necessarily a bad thing... just pointing it out. 😆 ).
Next, place your string cheese "fingers" and trim. You could also form the fingers from goat cheese, but string cheese is sooo much easier!
Then, simply finish wrapping it all up in thinly sliced proscuitto. Smooth the seams and tuck the ends under the bottom of the hand.
⭐️ This actually took a lot less time than expected! Then again, it is a Halloween appetizer... It's not meant to be pretty or perfect.
