This Creamy Basil & Avocado Pesto Dip is made with avocado, fresh basil, lemon juice, garlic, tahini, and sea salt. If your basil plants are like mine, they always need pruning. This is a quick way to use those extra leaves and stems. Because you simply put everything into the blender and puree, there is no chopping or prep and it's almost mess-free!
Creamy Basil & Avocado Pesto Dip (Gluten-free, soy-free, dairy-free, grain-free)
INGREDIENTS:
1 large, ripe avocado
1 small handful fresh basil
2 T lemon juice
1 clove garlic
1/4 cup tahini
1/4 cup olive oil
2-3 T water (for consistency)
Sea salt to taste
DIRECTIONS:
Add all ingredients into a blender or food processor and process until smooth.
