Too funny! Mr. No Portion Control came home from a trip raving about this whole cauliflower appetizer he had at a steakhouse and I just happened to have a few ideas already bookmarked for the exact same thing... only my version didn't cost $40.🤣

You totally have to try this for your next "meat-free whatever day"... or, in our case, every day just 'cas it's easy and awesome! You'll be mesmerized by that steam rising out or the top telling you that you are about to bite into veggie perfection... and burn the crap out of your mouth.🤣

Boil the cauliflower for 5 minutes.

Slather it with the mayo-cheese mixture.

Cheesy, Creamy Roasted Whole Cauliflower (Gluten-free, soy-free, grain-free, keto)


INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 head cauliflower, stem and core removed

  • 1 cup mayo

  • 1 cup shredded parmesan cheese

  • 1 T dijon mustard (Optional)

  • 1 tsp chili flakes (Optional)

  • salt



DIRECTIONS:


  • Preheat oven to 350 F.

  • Place the whole head of cauliflower into a large pot and cover with water.

  • Bring to a boil for about 5 minutes.

  • In the meantime, combine the mayo, cheese and optional ingredients. Set aside.

  • Remove cauliflower from water, dry it thoroughly.

  • Place it in a roasting dish.

  • Season all sides of the head with salt.

  • Slather the top and sides of cauliflower with the mayo-cheese mixture.

  • Bake for 30 minutes until fork tender and the top is browned.

  • Don't burn your mouth diving face first into it!
